This is the story of a man whose journey led from the Politechnika Łódzka and Polish industrial plants to the most important command centers at NASA. As a student, Dr. Nawrocki worked at the Elwro facilities in Wrocław, creating software for ODRA computers. After graduation, he became Poland's youngest chief engineer for robotics and automation at Huta Baildon. In the 1970s, he began his international career that would take him to the heights of space exploration.
