This event expands on the Centrum Dobrej Rozmowy: Misinformation project, which aims to strengthen competencies needed for conscious functioning in the media world. During the meeting, participants will examine the mechanisms of fake news creation and spread, image manipulation, and how media – including photography – influence our perception of reality. The discussion will also address the role of critical thinking, the responsibility of content creators and consumers, and the importance of reliable journalism in a democratic society. Guests will share their experience working with information and images, demonstrating how to distinguish credible sources from those that mislead.
