A showcase of contemporary Polish cinema opening with Jan Komasa's electrifying Hollywood debut 'Rocznica' (Anniversary). The program features Kordian Kądziel's cult 'LARP. Miłość, trolle i inne questy', Maciej Sobieszczański's bold 'Brat' (Brother), and Sebastian Pańczyk's hypnotic 'Południe Północ' (Noon North). Also included are intimate 'Nie ma duchów w mieszkaniu na Dobrej' by Emi Buchwald and humorous 'Życie dla początkujących' (Life for Beginners) by Paweł Podolski. The selection concludes with the Gdynia award-winning dystopian 'Glorious Summer' by Helena Ganjalyan and Bartosz Szpak—a visionary meditation on freedom and control. Polish cinema is alive and has much to show. Organized in partnership with NCKF and Miasto Filmu UNESCO.
