Exhibition Opening "YOUNG PROMISING ARTIST" at Galeria Biblio-Art Politechniki Łódzkiej

Szymon Sobczak was born and lives in Łódź. His fascination with comics became the driving force behind his artistic studies, during which he expanded his interests into new techniques and fields. In 2015, he graduated from the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź with a diploma from the Illustration, Comics and Preproduction for Games and Films workshop led by Professor Gabriel Kołat, where he currently works as an assistant. In his artistic work, Szymon Sobczak focuses mainly on comics, painting, and illustration. The "YOUNG PROMISING ARTIST" exhibition presents a collection of works from 2019-2026. The painting section consists exclusively of abstract works, while the illustration section maintains a grotesque character or references commercial Western productions.
