Secondary Cavity Dwellers | Workshop on Creating Nesting Boxes for Urban Birds at Museum Miasta

Learn about secondary cavity-dwelling birds, the challenges urban birds face, and how to help them on a small scale. Discover how to create nesting boxes that will attract urban birds and learn the safest places to install them. During the practical session, participants will build nesting boxes from reed-concrete that will be mounted in the next breeding season across urban spaces, including Ogród Muzeum Miasta Łódź, parks, and green areas. The boxes created by participants (with author consent) will also be featured in an exhibition marking the culmination of the "LAAF: Common Ground" project. No prior experience necessary—we'll teach you everything. All materials provided.
