• In the southern part of Łódź is located Rudzka Góra - a recreational complex, where you can find a toboggan run, a wooden hut built from timber brought from the Pieszczady Mountains, and even a ski jump! Although it was built in the 1960s, it's still in very good condition, thanks to enthusiasts of ski jumping who decided to restore it to its former glory in 2009. The Central Poland Ski Jumping Championship has even been held there.
• Christmas market - On December 1st, Piotrkowska street gains a unique festive atmosphere. This is when the annual market begins there, offering not only the beloved Christmas atmosphere for the following days. The program also includes attractions such as performances for children, concerts by famous performers, and workshops for making Christmas ornaments.
• We had skiing, now for... swimming! In the beautiful Łódź Orientarium, ice swimming enthusiasts have the opportunity to swim in the elephant pool. And if that's not enough, you can bathe every Sunday with a group of local ice swimmers at Arturówek, located in the northern part of Łódź.
• Winter is of course not just about skiing and sledding, but also ice skating. For those who like to have fun ice skating, the largest shopping and entertainment center in Łódź, Manufaktura, offers this opportunity every year.

The complex consists of 4 zones: the Sunda Islands, where you'll find crocodiles, orangutans and sun bears; the Celebes zone, home to macaques, otters and porcupines; the elephant zone, with the largest Indian elephant in Europe, and the most spectacular part - the Oceanarium, housing hundreds of fish species, such as sharks and rays.
