Łódź is a city that promotes creativity, so there is no shortage of places to organise a memorable birthday party, including for the youngest children. We checked where in the city you can hold a party that is actually still running and offers birthday packages.

A group trip around Orientarium Łódź ZOO

In Piłsudski Park, on Konstantynowska Street, you will find Orientarium Łódź ZOO - a group trip to the zoo is sure to delight the guests at a birthday party. It is worth explaining the zoo's rules to the children before entering. On site there is also Orientkowo, a large indoor playground designed with all children in mind, including neuroatypical ones, with a sensory-quiet zone and a separate calming room. The playground has three rooms available to hire for birthday parties (Safari, Underwater and Neutral), so the zoo visit and the party itself can be combined in one place. Back home, you could round things off with a drawing competition featuring the animals seen on the visit.

Indoor playgrounds

Several indoor playgrounds in Łódź host birthday parties. Besides the Orientkowo mentioned above, it is worth checking out Bajkowy Labirynt in Manufaktura at 58 Drewnowska Street, which has five birthday rooms (four for younger children and one, decorated with graffiti, for teenagers) and a Ro-An Ninja obstacle course modelled on the TV show. Slides, climbing walls, rope ladders and ball pits are typical attractions at both venues; it is worth checking the current offer and available dates directly before booking. For older children, aged 7 to 13, a good idea is a birthday trip to Tkalnia Zagadek, which runs a separate line of puzzle rooms for younger players, with an observer watching the game and ready to give hints if things get tricky.

Space for the youngest

At some point every child gets interested in two things: dinosaurs and space. Planetarium EC1, located at 1/3 Targowa Street, caters to that interest with shows designed for young viewers. The programme changes, so it is worth checking the current list of shows and times on the planetarium's website before visiting; a birthday adventure at the EC1 Science and Technology Centre can also be organised on site. It is a good alternative to the cinema, and the planetarium's unique atmosphere appeals to children and adults alike.
