This private botanical garden on the edge of Pabianice and Ksawerów holds hundreds of rose, lilac and dahlia varieties across themed plots.
Aflopark is a botanical garden on the border between Pabianice and Ksawerów, covering 80 thousand square metres open to visitors. The site is run by a private operator and focuses on collections of roses, lilacs and other ornamental plants.
The collection includes around 370 varieties of roses, 470 varieties of lilac, 107 varieties of dahlia, 200 varieties of mint and approximately 100 thousand flower bulbs planted in various parts of the grounds. The garden is divided into themed plots: rose garden, English rose garden, vegetable garden, hornbeam woodland, heather garden and orchards.
There is a café on site with views over the flower beds, where you can rest during your visit. For children, a playground in the shape of crickets has been prepared, along with traditional playgrounds with slides and climbing elements.
On the first Sunday of each month at 11:00, walks are held led by Aflopark's head gardener. This is an opportunity to learn about the plant collections with commentary from the person who cares for them on a daily basis.
