The Andel's Hotel rooftop pool is a haven for swimming and relaxation enthusiasts in the city centre. The glass roof allows bathing with views over Łódź, regardless of the weather.
The pool at Vienna House Andel's is a rooftop pool in a four-star hotel opened in May 2009 in a historic building that was formerly a cotton spinning mill belonging to Izrael Poznański. Enclosed in glass, the pool offers views of Łódź and the city panorama regardless of weather, creating a unique combination of recreation and clear views of the city's architectural landscape.
The hotel is located in Manufaktura, a revitalised complex of Poznański's textile factories. The cotton spinning mill building from Łódź's industrialisation period was given new purpose as one of the city's most modern hotels. The pool was adapted from a former water tank measuring 8m x 18m x 1.5m, discovered on the roof of the old factory during building renovation – this discovery made it possible to create one of the most interesting features of the hotel.
The pool is approximately 150 centimetres deep and is designed for recreational purposes, providing comfort and safety for swimmers. The glass structure enables swimming with views of Łódź's architecture, and the nearby factory buildings add a unique, historic character to the place. The pool is accessible to both hotel guests and non-guests for an additional fee, making it accessible to tourists and Łódź residents.
Vienna House Andel's has 278 rooms (including 220 standard, 53 superior, 4 lofts and 1 presidential suite), seven conference rooms and a ballroom. With its extensive facilities, the hotel serves both business and leisure guests, offering a full range of services in the heart of Łódź.
