Łódź University of Technology's sports complex opened in 2017, with two Olympic-size pools, a 650-seat multipurpose hall and five conference rooms.
Zatoka Sportu Politechniki Łódzkiej is an academic sports and teaching centre (ACSD) opened in September 2017, offering extensive infrastructure for water sports, recreation and conferences. The centre has two Olympic pools and a multifunctional hall, making it one of Łódź's modern sports facilities.
The main assets of Zatoka Sportu are two pools: a 25-metre pool with a moveable floor offering variable depth from 0 to 5 metres, designed with the safety of children and beginner swimmers in mind, and an Olympic 50-metre pool equipped with professional diving towers for advanced athletes and training. Both sections are intended for recreation and sports training.
The complex has a climbing wall 17 metres high and 30 metres wide, one of the larger facilities of its kind in Poland. The wall is divided into a zone for sport and lead climbing and a smaller, recreational section for beginners. Sessions are run by Fabryka Wspinania.
The dry zone of the centre includes a multifunctional sports hall with capacity for up to 650 people, which can be adapted for concerts, conferences and sports shows. Additionally, five conference rooms with sliding walls offer flexible space configuration for business meetings, seminars and congresses, with capacity for up to 500 people in the largest configuration.
