Bałucki Ośrodek Kultury "Lutnia", also known as Centrum Twórczości Lutnia, is a public educational and artistic institution located in the Teofilów housing estate, offering programmes for children, young people and adults.

History and activity since 1981

Centrum Twórczości Lutnia has operated since 1981 as part of the Bałucki Ośrodek Kultury network, one of the largest public networks of cultural centres in Łódź. For over four decades, the institution has served as an artistic and educational hub for residents of Teofilów and surrounding areas, supporting the development of artistic interests in every age group. The facility is located in the centre of the housing estate and has a large car park on the grounds, making it easily accessible for visitors.

Inter-provincial festivals and reviews

The centre organises several prestigious reviews and festivals that attract participants from across the voivodeship. The Provincial Children's Theatre Review "Konfrontacje" is an annual event that provides a platform for young theatrical talent. The Provincial Festival of Children and Young People's Music "Pięciolinia marzeń" offers an opportunity for young artists to showcase their musical skills. Additionally, the centre organises the Artistic Creation Review for People with Disabilities titled "Moja Sztuka - Moje Życie", emphasising inclusivity and accessibility of cultural offerings.

Educational programmes

The centre's full range of offerings includes classes in music, theatre, visual arts, dance and many other art disciplines.
