The Kraków Gate and City Hall — the twin landmarks of Wieluń's historic centre.
The Kraków Gate (Brama Krakowska) and the City Hall in Wieluń are the central landmarks of this historic town. The gate was once part of the medieval fortifications, while the Town Hall dominates the market square. Wieluń is notable as one of the first Polish towns to be bombed at the start of World War II on 1 September 1939.
