The town's first fenced dog park, opened in October 2024, with a double-gate airlock entrance, obstacles, lighting and water bowls.
The dog run in Freedom Park is an enclosed area of 2500 square metres, which opened on 29 October 2024. Access to the run is from Moniuszki Street, and the facility is the first of its kind in Pabianice.
The area is surrounded by fencing with a double entry airlock, which prevents dogs from escaping when entering and leaving the run. After dark the run is lit, so it can be used in the evening as well.
The run has obstacles for dogs: a tunnel, slalom and a bridge, and there is also a sandbox for digging. Benches have been provided for owners, and there are water bowls and waste bag dispensers for dogs. The entire surface is regularly mown, so dogs can run on short, level grass without the risk of getting tangled in tall weeds.
In some registers the run is described by the address 15 Pułku Piechoty "Wilków" 5a – this is the name of the nearest intersection, where the Monument to the Soldiers of the 15th Infantry Regiment Wilków also stands. The actual entrance to the run is from Moniuszki Street, on the side of Freedom Park.
