A section of the Lasy Nadpiliczne forests bordering the Jeżowska detached-housing estate, serving as a green recreational area for local residents.
Las przy Jeżowskiej is a woodland area adjacent to the Jeżowska housing estate in Rawa Mazowiecka, forming part of the Lasy Nadpiliczne (Narew Forest) surrounding the city. Rawa Mazowiecka lies in central Poland, on the route connecting Łódź with Warsaw, and the surrounding forests provide a natural recreational space for residents of the housing estate and nearby streets.
Osiedle Jeżowska is one of the oldest and largest single-family housing estates in Rawa Mazowiecka. Its infrastructure, including utilities and roads, was developed in stages between 1992 and 2006. The forest borders directly on single-family housing and creates a green setting for families living here.
The area forms part of the larger Lasy Nadpiliczne complex, covering the vicinity of Rawa Mazowiecka. In the neighbourhood of the city, areas have been designated for protection under the Natura 2000 network. However, the exact boundaries of these protected areas in relation to the forest at Jeżowska have not been established, nor have its precise area or network of walking trails.
