Covered Swimming Pool of the Sports and Recreation Centre

The covered swimming pool of the Sports and Recreation Centre on ul. Próchnika is a year-round municipal pool in Piotrków Trybunalski, managed by OSiR [Sports and Recreation Centre]. The facility has one large pool and a sauna, is adapted for people with disabilities and operates regardless of season.

One pool, year-round schedule

The pool measures 25 by 12.5 metres and remains open throughout the year. The facility operates a sauna, and water quality is regularly monitored by the State County Health Inspector. This is a typical solution for municipal pools of this size, without expansion into additional water attractions.

Accessibility for people with disabilities

The facility is adapted for people with disabilities, making it an accessible sports venue in the city. The manager, the Sports and Recreation Centre in Piotrków Trybunalski, operates one of several sports facilities in the city, with its main office at ul. Stefana Batorego 8.

Complex of Covered Swimming Pools on Próchnika

The Tourist Information Centre in Piotrków Trybunalski lists at this location a Complex of Covered Swimming Pools, suggesting more than one pool in the Próchnika Street area. For those planning a visit, this means it is worth asking on site which pool specifically they wish to use.

Opening hours

In the 2025/2026 season the pool was open Monday to Friday from 6:00–22:00, and at weekends from 6:00 to 14:00. In the summer period, from 1 July to 31 August, hours were shortened to 10:00–18:00. The schedule is updated regularly, so it is best to check it on the OSiR website before visiting.
