Opoczyńska Fala

Opoczyńska Fala is a municipal indoor swimming pool at ulica Biernackiego 4a in Opoczno, run by the municipal Przedsiębiorstwo Gospodarki Komunalnej (Municipal Utility Company). The facility combines a sports pool, recreational area, water slide and sauna zone, making it suitable both for learning to swim and for relaxation in the water.

Sports and recreational pool

The swimming pool measures 25 by 12.5 metres and has six lanes, with depth ranging from 1.45 to 1.80 metres. Alongside it is a recreational pool measuring 12.5 by 6 metres with depth from 0.70 to 0.90 metres, equipped with side massage, neck massage and an air geyser.

Water slide and stands

The facility has a tubular water slide 58 metres long, ending in a shaped landing area measuring 3 by 6 metres. Spectator stands with 102 seats have been provided, allowing visitors to cheer during swimming competitions or shows.

Sauna and wellness zone

The wellness complex includes a dry sauna, steam bath and gentle sauna, as well as a small cooling pool measuring 4 by 2.5 metres with depth of 1.20 metres. These are complemented by regenerating and relaxing showers, including the traditional bucket and birch switches, plus a separate massage room.

Classes and additional attractions

The pool offers individual and group swimming lessons and water movement classes. At weekends a water obstacle course appears on the pool, and there is also a bar on site. It provides an alternative to open-air bathing, which Zalew Opoczno offers in summer.
