Trzy Korony

Park Trzy Korony lies in the western part of Zduńska Wola, on ulica Sieradzka. The city council gave it this name by resolution on 19 December 2024, referring to the former name of the area. The park is accessible at all times and is managed by the city of Zduńska Wola.

Wooden bridges and paths

The main element of small-scale architecture is wooden bridges with balustrades, built over ground depressions, and suspended walking paths. These are supplemented by gravel paths connecting different parts of the park. These structures allow visitors to cross the entire area without stepping on grass or damp ground.

Greenery and wildflower meadow

Over 200 trees have been planted in the park, including nectary birches chosen for their value to pollinating insects. On a surface exceeding 12,000 square metres, a wildflower meadow has been established with wild species. Over a hundred glacial boulders are arranged along the paths, and wooden pyramids serving as insect houses have been placed for wild bees.

The origin of the name Trzy Korony

The name of the western part of Zduńska Wola comes from a former inn called Trzy Korony, which stood in this area. The place is also associated with a local story of a vanished pond called Kazek. The city council decided to preserve this name by transferring it to the newly laid out park.

Rules for using the park

The regulations prohibit pitching tents, grilling and grass burning. Cycling and skateboarding in a manner that poses a risk to others are forbidden, as is entry by motor vehicles. The area is lit and monitored.
