Tkalnia Zagadek Escape Room

Tkalnia Zagadek Escape Room is a puzzle room on Piotrkowska Street in Łódź, one of the first venues of this kind in Poland. Groups of friends, families and work teams solve puzzles locked in a themed room here, with a set time limit at their disposal.

Games to choose from

The venue at Piotrkowska 76/5 offers five games: Redrum, Matrix, Szaman, Frankenstein and Łowca Wampirów. Most scenarios last 60 minutes, with the two longest, Frankenstein and Łowca Wampirów, taking 90 minutes.

The company's second location, at Piotrkowska 45/20, runs a separate set of games: Zbrodnia, Reaktor, Łódź Podwodna, Zombie, Skazani and Kryjówka Piratów. Both addresses operate independently, so it is worth checking which venue your chosen game is at before booking.

One of Poland's first escape rooms

The company opened its first venue in mid-2014, when room games were only just appearing on the Polish entertainment market. Since then, the format has expanded to two locations in central Łódź, both in the immediate vicinity of Piotrkowska.

The area

Piotrkowska 76/5 is located in Śródmieście [city centre], a few hundred metres from the clubs and galleries of OFF Piotrkowska.

It is also a short walk from Manufaktura, where after solving puzzles you can continue your evening at the cinema, restaurants or ice rink.

How the game works

A group is locked in a room furnished according to a specific scenario, for example an interior resembling a laboratory, hideout or ship's deck. The task of participants is to find hidden clues, solve puzzles and open successive rooms before the time limit runs out.

A facilitator observes the game from outside and, if needed, provides hints through a communication system in the room, so getting stuck on one puzzle does not end the fun.

For whom

The format works well for corporate team-building, birthdays and gatherings with friends, as the game requires the cooperation of the entire group and no prior experience. The number of participants depends on the chosen scenario, so it is worth establishing this when booking.
