Virtual House

Virtual House przy ulicy Piotrkowskiej 120 is a virtual reality centre with twelve VR stations. It is located in the very centre of Łódź, next to OFF Piotrkowska, so it is easy to combine a visit with a walk along the pedestrian thoroughfare or an evening in the clubs and restaurants of this area. Before today's tenement was built in 1890, a wooden house had stood on the plot since the 1830s, and among its nineteenth-century owners was weaver Fryderyk Wilhelm, who owned several other properties on Piotrkowska at the same time.

What the centre offers

The game library contains over one hundred titles available in single-player, multiplayer, competitive and cooperative modes. Among them are F1-style races, revolver duels, team shooters and games requiring cooperation from the whole group. On the twelve stations, both individual players and larger teams competing simultaneously can play.

Equipment and sensations

Sessions are enhanced by haptic vests, which transmit vibrations corresponding to the action in the game, for example hits or collisions. This means gameplay engages sight and hearing as well as touch, which is particularly evident in action games and races.

Events and hire

Virtual House takes groups on an exclusive basis, including corporate events and team-building sessions for up to 50-60 people, with animators leading the gameplay and bar service. Beyond the hall, the company also offers hire of portable VR stations, VR tents for outdoor events, production of spherical films, and custom-made VR and AR applications.

Hours and access

The centre is closed on Mondays. From Tuesday to Thursday it operates from 15:00 to 21:00, on Friday until 23:00, on Saturday from 12:00 to 23:00, and on Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00. The entrance is on the Piotrkowska side, Łódź's main pedestrian thoroughfare, well served by MPK trams and buses. There are car parks nearby, although in the city centre you should be prepared for parking fees.
