One of Wieluń's three main municipal parks in the town centre, named after pilots Franciszek Żwirko and Stanisław Wigura.
Park Miejski im. Żwirki i Wigury lies in the city centre of Wieluń and is one of three main municipal parks in the city, alongside Witold Pilecki Municipal Park and Mieczysław Kałuża Municipal Park.
The park is located in the city centre of Wieluń, in the vicinity of the other two municipal parks named after distinguished residents of the region.
The park bears the names of Franciszek Żwirko, born in 1895, and Stanisław Wigura, two Polish pilots. Their names were given to many streets and parks in Poland as a memorial to the achievements of Polish aviation, and the Wieluń park is one such place.
