Rabbit Waldi is a steady husband and father of 53 children who quietly dreams of a great adventure. After rescuing a young hedgehog named Hela from the road and suffering a head injury, he begins to believe he is Count Farmazon, a dragon slayer and rescuer of princesses. Convinced that the world is full of challenges awaiting him, he leaves his home to fight evil and help the weak. At his side walks Hela, who feels obligated to keep Waldi from completely losing his mind and getting into trouble. To her surprise, it turns out that a certain lady does indeed need the help of Count Farmazon, and a crocodile that looks suspiciously like a dragon is terrorizing a nearby town. Waldi and Hela plunge into an adventure.
