Alexander Fredro's Zemsta is a masterpiece of Polish literature and a canonical comedy exemplifying situational comedy and verbal humor. It stands as a critical work on Polishness, witty and remarkably relevant today in pointing out our national flaws and weaknesses. Director Krzysztof Jasiński (Director of STU Theatre in Krakow) returns to Teatr Jaracza in Łódź after 51 years since his directorial debut.
