Park na Zdrowiu
This is the place most often chosen by Łódź runners, mainly because of the number of paths. It is sometimes called the "Łódź Central Park" – a place preferred not only by runners, but also by people practicing yoga or stretching, and also a perfect place to relax in nature (and that in the city center!). The main paths are well-lit, and the city takes care of their maintenance (in winter – proper snow removal, which makes the park an attractive destination for dedicated runners even when winter weather is not conducive to physical activity).
Park Poniatowskiego
This is another Łódź park that is loved by runners. Many people may be interested in the weekly parkrun. The Decathlon Run also takes place here, during which the park area is used "anew" – participants do not run along the paths, but on a specially designated route that requires engagement of more muscles. The advantage is its location almost in the city center.
Park na Stokach
The next park in this list should surprise no one looking for specific, demanding places to run. There is also a stadium with a tartan track; an ideal place for people who want to work primarily on their speed.
Las Łagiewnicki
The largest green complex located within the city. It allows you to escape for a moment into truly wild nature. There are both flat routes that are undemanding and ideal for beginners as well as definitely more difficult ones, with numerous climbs and elevation gains. Thanks to the varied terrain, every running enthusiast will find a route suitable for their needs.
Poligon Brus
Another interesting option for those who prefer more demanding routes. The former military range is located in Złotnia. The terrain, similarly to Las Łagiewnicki, is quite varied. It is worth remembering the remnants of military infrastructure on the range – you can use it during training or for stretching.
