One of two venues of the Ośrodek Działań Artystycznych in Piotrków Trybunalski, organiser of the recurring Biennale Piotrków and municipal contemporary art shows.
A contemporary art gallery at ul. Jarosława Dąbrowskiego 5 in Piotrków Trybunalski and one of two locations of the Centre for Artistic Activity, a municipal cultural institution that organises exhibitions, workshops and meetings with artists.
The institution was established in 2009 through the transformation of the Bureau of Art Exhibitions - Contemporary Art Gallery, which had operated in Piotrków Trybunalski since 1976. ODA functions as a municipal organisational unit, organised by the City of Piotrków Trybunalski.
The aim of ODA is to present and promote contemporary art and cultural education, building an active audience for art in the city. The Dąbrowskiego programme includes exhibitions, workshops and meetings with artists, run alongside the second ODA gallery on ul. Sieradzkiej.
The gallery organises the regular Piotrków Biennial, an event presenting contemporary art by Polish artists. This is a fixture in the institution's calendar alongside current solo and group exhibitions.
The gallery stands close to the historic centre of Piotrków. A few minutes' walk away is the royal castle.
In the same area it is worth visiting the parish church of St James the Apostle, one of the oldest churches in the city.
