County Public Library

Powiatowa Biblioteka Publiczna w Działoszynie is a municipal cultural institution run by Powiat Pajęczański [Pajęczańsko County]. Its headquarters are located at ulica Zamkowa 1, on the ground floor of a building that formerly housed Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 [Primary School No. 1].

New premises on Zamkowa

For many years the library occupied rooms in Pałac Męcińskich [Męciński Palace]. The county authorities decided to move it to the building after the school on ulica Zamkowa, because the facility needed more space and better technical conditions. Thanks to this, the book collection and readers gained more spacious interiors, and the library itself remained in the centre of Działoszyn.
