The first Helios chain multiplex in Pabianice, located in the Tkalnia shopping centre, with four screening rooms and Christie 4K projectors.
Helios Cinema in Pabianice occupies a floor in Tkalnia Shopping Centre and belongs to the Helios S.A. network, the largest cinema operator in Poland. It was the first multiplex of this chain to open in Pabianice, so for many city residents it remains the main place to watch new film releases without travelling to Łódź.
The cinema has four air-conditioned screening rooms, each equipped with a latest-generation Christie 4K projector and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound system. The screens handle projections in both 2D and 3D formats, so the programme includes standard screenings and three-dimensional productions.
Helios S.A. operates over fifty cinemas in Poland with a combined total of around three hundred screens, making this the largest network in the country. The cinema in Pabianice uses the same booking and programme system as other venues in the network, and the current screening schedule can be checked on the Filmweb website. Beyond standard screenings, the cinema organises series such as Cinema of Women, late-night film marathons, Cinema Connoisseur and children's screenings.
The screens are located on the first floor of Tkalnia Shopping Centre, so before or after a screening you can visit the surrounding shops and dining outlets in the same building. This arrangement is typical for Helios network multiplexes, which usually operate as part of larger shopping developments.
