Kino Kultura

Kino Kultura in Bełchatów operates at plac Narutowicza 1A as part of the Miejskie Centrum Kultury [Municipal Centre of Culture]. It is a permanent venue with a different character from chain multiplexes, combining film screenings with performances and events organised by the culture centre.

Programme and repertoire

The cinema shows current film releases and Polish productions, and also runs thematic programmes and performances organised by the MCK. The repertoire thus combines the typical cinema schedule with cultural events that go beyond cinema alone.

Family offer

The venue organises screenings aimed at families with children, including special showings during school holidays. During the summer season, Kino Kultura also runs free summer outdoor screenings for Bełchatów residents, which sets it apart from commercial cinema chains operating in the city. This funding model, based on the culture institution's budget rather than solely on ticket sales, allows it to combine standard film repertoire with free-access events.

Place within the Miejskie Centrum Kultury

Kino Kultura functions as a permanent part of the MCK, not as a separate company or cinema chain. This means the repertoire is supplemented with performances, thematic screenings and events organised by the culture centre, extending beyond the standard schedule of film releases.

Tickets and booking

Seat reservation is available through the online system at bilety.mckbelchatow.pl or directly at the cinema box office. The exact box office opening hours and screening times depend on the current repertoire, so it is worth checking the latest programme on the MCK Bełchatów website before your visit. Ticket prices, any group discounts and the number of screens and seats are not listed on the institution's websites, so these details should be confirmed directly at the box office.

Bełchatów also has a second cinema screen operated under a different model. Kino Helios is located in Galeria Olimpia and offers a multiplex chain programme with four screens and a premium standard screen.
