A heated indoor skatepark on Łąkowa Street combines skateboarding with a gear shop and lessons for beginners.
Łódź Skate Club is a heated indoor skatepark at Łąkowa 3/5, in building B-1, entered from ul. Struga 86. The venue covers 500 square metres and operates under the SUPER SKATE school run by Piotr Dabov.
The roof and heating allow skating regardless of the weather, setting the venue apart from open-air city skateparks that are only usable seasonally. The hall sits within a former factory building on Łąkowa Street, typical of this part of Łódź.
On site there is a skateshop offering decks, trucks, bearings, wheels, helmets, shoes and clothing for skateboarding and scootering. The same range is also available through the club's online shop.
Lessons run for children through a dedicated KIDS section, as well as for teenagers and adults at beginner and advanced level. Bookings for lessons are made online, and the club also runs seasonal programmes, including summer camps.
The location on Łąkowa Street borders the former textile factory district, close to the Museum of Illusions and the Łódź Power Station Villa. This makes it easy to combine a visit to the skatepark with exploring other places in this part of the city.
