About FuMG-65 Würzburg-Riese Radar Base (Perlhuhn)
A surviving WWII German radar base near Piotrków Trybunalski — the concrete foundation of a Würzburg-Riese radar dish.
This site near Piotrków Trybunalski preserves the concrete base of a German FuMG-65 Würzburg-Riese radar installation from World War II, codenamed "Perlhuhn". These large parabolic radar dishes were used by the German Luftwaffe for aircraft tracking and air defence. A rare and historically significant remnant of WWII military technology.
