A boulder inscribed with words of President Ignacy Mościcki, set along the avenue named after him in Spała.
A glacial boulder with words engraved by President Ignacy Mościcki, situated on the avenue bearing his name in Spała, near the Centralny Ośrodek Sportu [Central Sports Centre]. It is one of two monuments connected to Mościcki in this part of the town.
Spała was the favourite rest destination of President Ignacy Mościcki during his presidency, from 1926 to 1939. He spent his free time here, received guests and held political conversations, which years later was commemorated with this boulder bearing a presidential quotation.
The avenue named after Mościcki runs through the historic residential part of Spała, near the former hunting lodge, Tsarina's Tower and the park named after the presidents of the Second Polish Republic. It is in this same section of the town where the second monument to the president stands – an obelisk from 2000.
