Schron Regelbau 621

Schron Regelbau 621 is a German anti-aircraft bunker built during World War II. Located on Strzelecka Street, it is an example of typical Western German defensive architecture – known as Regelbau (standardized construction). Its solid concrete structure testifies to the mobilization of resources and defensive planning by the Nazi occupation authorities. The bunker offers visitors the opportunity to learn about the material traces of World War II directly in the city. It allows visitors to see how Łódź residents were forced to seek shelter and understand the scale of destruction and dangers accompanying the bombardments.
