A two-level shopping centre in Pabianice on the site of the former Krusche-Ender textile mill, with over forty shops, dining options and a Helios cinema.
Tkalnia Shopping Centre stands on the site of the former Krusche-Ender textile factory in Pabianice, one of the plants that built the city's industrial character in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Today, in the same location, a two-storey shopping and entertainment venue operates with over forty shops, a food court and a cinema.
Before the shopping centre was built, the site was occupied by the Krusche-Ender textile manufactory, which operated in Pabianice from the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The investor in the redevelopment was A&A Marketing, the general contractor was Awbud, and the architectural design was prepared by Wojtyś Wójtowicz Architekci studio. The centre opened with a formal opening ceremony on 29 and 30 June 2019.
The building has two floors and almost 12,000 square metres of retail space. Among over forty tenants are clothing and footwear chains such as Reserved, Sinsay, House, CCC, TATUUM and Big Star, as well as electronics, toys and pharmacy shops. The layout of shops is shown on a plan available on the centre's website.
The centre has a food court with cafés and restaurants where you can eat before or after shopping. In the same building, on the upper floor, there is a Helios Cinema multiplex, so a visit to Tkalnia can easily be combined with a film screening without leaving the building.
