The classicist manor of Stefan Złotnicki, regarded as the founder of Zduńska Wola, with the family's coats of arms over the entrance, now home to the city hall.
Dworek Złotnickich is a neoclassical manor house built in the first half of the 19th century by the Złotnicki family, founders of Zduńska Wola. Today it houses the seat of the City Office.
The manor was the residence of Stefan Prawdzic-Złotnicki, recognised as the founder of Zduńska Wola. Thanks to his efforts, from 1817 onwards the number of weavers arriving from Silesia, Germany and Bohemia grew, and on 25 October 1825 the settlement received city rights.
The building is neoclassical, with high ceilings and broad staircases. Above the main entrance are carved coats of arms of Stefan Złotnicki and his wife Honorata from the Okołowicz family. One of these coats of arms became the coat of arms of Zduńska Wola.
After the Second World War the manor was enlarged and rebuilt. It now houses the seat of the Zduńska Wola City Office, and the history of the Złotnicki family is presented in a permanent exhibition of the Museum of City History titled "Tu Czekay – or how the Złotnicksis built Zduńska Wola".
Nearby stands the Monument to the Cursed Soldiers, and not far away is the Museum of City History with an exhibition about the Złotnicki family. In the nearby park, a Go-kart Rental operates seasonally, and several hundred metres further lies Królikowski Square.
