Central Museum of Textiles

This is an attraction located in the so-called Biała Fabryka (White Factory), which once belonged to Ludwig Ferdinand Geyer. This figure was considered a pioneer in the development of Łódź's textile industry. The museum boasts the richest collection of contemporary art textiles. Moreover, the multimedia museum offers the opportunity to travel back to the times of industrial Łódź, while in the former garden visitors can visit the Museum of Łódź Wooden Architecture (Skansen Łódzkiej Architektury Drewnianej).

OFF Piotrkowska – Cotton Factory

OFF Piotrkowska is the former cotton factory of Franciszek Ramisch. On a national scale, it is a unique project in which representatives of creative industries operate within a single space, creating a distinctive artistic bohemia here.

Former Litzmannstadt Ghetto – Many Attractions in One Place

This is a unique place that commemorates the history of the ghetto from World War II. In the area of the former closed district, you can encounter attractions such as the Park of the Survivors (Park Ocalałych), the Marek Edelman Dialogue Centre, Radegast Station, the Jewish Cemetery, the Monument to the Martyrdom of Children, and the Roma Forge (Kuźnia Romów).

Łódź Architecture – A Cathedral Not to Be Missed

This is a place for every architecture enthusiast. A noteworthy site is the archcathedral, which can be viewed between masses and services. The cathedral has a very interesting history dating back to World War I.

EC1 Łódź – City of Culture

In 1907, a block of the city's first power station in Łódź was built – EC1 Wschód (EC1 East), which was later transformed into a combined heat and power plant that operated until the beginning of the 19th century. Currently, this unique place houses many important Łódź institutions and one of the city's greatest attractions – the Planetarium.

Museum of the "Dętka" Canal – History in a Tunnel

This is the only museum of a canal in Poland, located in an original oval-shaped storm sewer. The structure was built in 1926 as one of the first sections of the city's sewage system. Currently, it is a 142-meter tunnel organized for museum purposes.

Museum of Pharmacy – History of Pharmacy in One Place

It is located in Łódź's oldest pharmacy, which is not often talked about. It is an original point against the backdrop of the city's textile heritage. In this place, visiting tourists have the opportunity to prepare their own medicine themselves.

Manufaktura – Modern Center

This is a modern commercial and industrial center located in restored buildings of a factory complex. Its owner was one of Łódź's greatest manufacturers – Israel Poznański.

Księży Młyn – Enormous Industrial Complex

Księży Młyn, which covers an area of 500 hectares, is an industrial complex recognized as a historical monument. It is one of Łódź's most valuable heritage sites. The first spinning mill began its operations here in the years 1827-1830. The complex owes its current character primarily to the factory complexes that were built by Karol Scheibler.

Museum of the Factory in Manufaktura

In this place you can see and hear – thanks to the operating weaving machines – what daily life of workers looked like and the technique of fabric production. Managed by the Fabricum Group, the museum combines modern technologies with exhibition values, making it possible to see the history of textiles in an interesting and understandable way.
