3 attractions

Cultural life in Radogoszcz centres around a network of library branches - this is where discussion clubs, board games and activities for various age groups take place, not just book lending.

Branch No. 10 on 11 Listopada street - a book club and bridge

Branch No. 10 of the Municipal Public Library at 11 Listopada 79, besides book lending, runs a Book Discussion Club and regular bridge card game meetings. On site there are computer stations, a printer and a photocopier, and the building is adapted for people with disabilities.

Branch No. 18 - a library named after its founder

Branch No. 18 on Wodnika 7 is named after Julia Zbijewska, a teacher who in 1936 founded the first free library in this part of Radogoszcz in her own home on Sloneczna street. Today's branch continues that tradition at a new address.

The branch on Motylowa street - a poetry group and family activities

The library on Motylowa 13 is the meeting place of the Motyl poetry group and the Book Discussion Club. For the youngest there is the Toddler's Library programme, and for older residents the Senior Zone.

All three branches are free and work well for a rainy afternoon. Other cultural institutions in the region can be found on the culture in the Łódź region page, and other places in the district among the attractions in Radogoszcz and more broadly in Łódź.
