Over 70 places in the Stare Polesie neighborhood, in the Polesie district. 43 of them have listed opening hours, 26 are free. The list lets you plan a route within one area, without crossing the whole city.
A quarter of tenement buildings from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, west of Piotrkowska, home to more theatre stages than any other part of the city outside the very center. On top of that, twenty murals, seven museums and galleries, and six churches.
Teatr Pinokio at Kopernika 16 and Teatr Studyjny PWSFTViT at number 8 share the same street. A few minutes away perform Teatr Logos at Skłodowskiej-Curie 22, Teatr Szwalnia at Strugi 90, and Teatr V6 with a dance repertoire at Żeromskiego 74/76. At Łąkowa 21 stands Willa Teodora Milscha with the Muzeum Sztuki Iluzji (Museum of Illusion Art), and at number 29, Klub Wytwórnia on the grounds of the former film studio. Separately there are Muzeum Książki Dziecięcej (Museum of the Children's Book) at Gdańska 100/102, and Muzeum Uniwersytetu Medycznego (Museum of the Medical University) and Izba Pamięci 28 Pułku Strzelców Kaniowskich (Memorial Room of the 28th Kaniów Riflemen Regiment), both at Żeligowskiego 7/9.
Zatoka Sportu Politechniki Łódzkiej at al. Politechniki 10 is the largest pool in this part of the city, with a standard ticket from 15 PLN. Next to it, at al. Politechniki 1, is Stacja Grawitacja (Gravity Station) with trampolines and a climbing wall, and at Legionów 65 there is a skatepark.
